Summer in Down Under

Travel , December 20, 2016

“When the sun’s still up at 8 PM, it’s officially summer in down under.”

The last time I was here it was winter, and there were more clouds than the sun, then during this visit which was actually my first official summer outside of Bali. I’ve experienced more daylight than I could’ve asked for.

Long harsh lights during the day and combine that with unpredictable weather could be quite a challenge. Yet the true uniqueness of Australia was the diversity of people and the laid-backness of it. People wearing a full suit, hanging out in the park and loads of people flocking to the beach in the middle of the week when the weather was just right. It seemed like a place of perfect balance between life and work.

and with all the editing deadlines for me, here’s a sneak peek of my recent days here!

All images below were edited with the VSCO 06 presets and captured with the Leica M240 + RicohGR
